Review:
Blackberry was a film that flew under many's radar, nonetheless, this was a pleasant surprise for me. I am a big fan of the show It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia so admittedly there was a little bias going into it. with that being said I was blown away by Glenn Howerton's performance and it's clear that the Harvard training paid off. Jay Baruchel also gives a surprisingly good performance and he can convey his characters' subtle changes through the movie. With biopics coming out every other day this was definitely working against the odds. However, BlackBerry's downfall is what separates it from the rest. Instead of getting our usual rags-to-riches story, we see how quickly that can all fall apart over one decision and the never-ending constant evolution of technology.
Synopsis:
A company that toppled global giants before succumbing to the ruthlessly competitive forces of Silicon Valley. This is not a conventional tale of modern business failure by fraud and greed. The rise and fall of BlackBerry reveals the dangerous speed at which innovators race along the information superhighway.
